Not silly but greedy

Bernard Madoff was recently sentenced to 150 years in prison for his fraud. BusinessWeek weekly comentator in this context wrote:"It is proved that the rich are just as stupid as the rest of us."
Of course stupidity is a natural human trait. It helps those teachable ones to find another, perhaps easier, way to their goal. But I think more greed leads to the stupidity of the rich ones.
