theBlog
Why did I decide to start my own blog and what the blog is about? Well, the decision came from my own need to learn if and how my view on the world is changing. I also want to share my opinion and learn if what I see as right or wrong makes others feeling alike eventually. I write about anything. Living the life brings new topics all the time.

Jindřich Šídlo dedicated his comments in
Hospodářské noviny from July 19th, 2011 to
public transport in
Praha. With many of his word one can't agree more.
Praha once had built up an extensive tram network, from which it still lives until today. Unfortunately the city doesn't invest in its expansion much. Let alone the new coaches. Swaggering old coaches with fiberglass seats, which sitting on you can barely handle leafing pages of the above-mentioned newspapers. Not speaking of any convenient means of transport. The
tram still remains the backbone of the
Praha's public transport.

The
Ekonom magazine is in its 21st issue of this year dealing among others with problems that the Czech producers of entertainment for adults are facing. Comparing the numbers of printed pieces of some titles is really interesting. As same as the development of those numbers. The printed titles anyway have not much peal anymore. Plus we all know how it is on the Internet.

Do věží Světovéhoobchodního centra narazila dvě cestovní letadla.

Arthur C. Clarke gave in 2001 a forecast that space airplanes for commercial purposes will apply from 2012. It's right a decade from this forecast and just one year from that new form of tourism. Can we make it?

Again I go back to social networks, mainly represented by
Facebook in our parts of the world. A view of
David Mencl just on
Facebook appeared in the 47/2010 issue of the
Ekonom magazine in the
Sloupky manažerů section. He begins by the same look at the social networks as mine. I don’t understand people who have the need to give to public through that network all the, even the finest, details of their lives. I also don’t understand the people who have the need to inform the world on each of their farts.
David Mencl, however, concluded that’s a way of communicating with his children.

While watching yesterday's
Czech Television’s program Události, komentáře I was wondering for a while if I misunderstood the date and we have the last day of the year already or first April.

... Butthanks so much for it. One of Prague's subway car can carry about 250 people. Onetrain has 5 cars. So one train brings let's say 1200 people. They often gatherat the station from both directions at once. During the rush hour a thousandpeople swarm out of the train easily (assuming the half of passengers exit inthe exposed stations). And all these will create a crowd pouring through thetunnels to the surface or on another line. That is not any comfortabletraveling. Better tram ride nicely on the surface. The people are more easilyscattered after all.

Human ingenuity knows no boundaries really, the desire for many as well. We are therefore able to sell or buy literally anything.

In our capital city is a stone bridge since 14th century, built under the auspices of the then Emperor Charles IV. Richly fabled, endured many dangers, connecting Old Town with Lesser Town. Now works almost exclusively as a tourist attraction. A recent walk through it gave me quite a hard time mentally.
