While watching yesterday's Czech Television’s program Události, komentáře I was wondering for a while if I misunderstood the date and we have the last day of the year already or first April.
During the debate of Daniela Drtinova with Senator and Teplice Mayor Jaroslav Kubera I was royally entertained. Jaroslav Kubera is known as the author of so called Sidewalks act (97/2009 Coll.). This Act amended the Act 13/1997 Coll., on the infrastructure. Among other things, amended is the wording of § 27 2nd paragraph. This change has delegated responsibility for damage on the sidewalks from the owners of the property owner associated with the sidewalk on the owners of the infrastructure.
After the experience from last week Czech Television recognized the need to address Mr. Kubera and ask him some questions concerning the movement of the sidewalks. This interview, however, was actually very funny. For me at least.
